Hospital Chaplaincy

Going into the Heath Hospital? There is a dedicated band of Eucharistic ministers who faithfully bring Holy Communion to sick Catholics there each Sunday. The problem is getting your name to them!

If you, or a friend or relative are going into the Heath, please do not assume you will be visited if you say on admission that you are a Catholic, as this information is not routinely passed to hospital chaplains. Make sure you (or your friend/relative) are visited by ringing the Chaplaincy Department directly on (029) 2074 3230 and leaving details with any of the chaplains on duty or the secretary. If you are invited to leave a message on the answering machine then please do so: make it clear that the patient is a Roman Catholic.
