Buildings :: Cardiff Castle, Duke Street
Cardiff Castle is, so far, the work of four groups of people. Work was begun by the Romans, carried on by the Normans, re-built to its present size and shape by the 3rd Marquess of Bute in the 19th century, and then extensively renovated by the city in our own time.
