Cause for C elebration!

On May 31st eight Sisters celebrated their Golden Jubilee of Religious Profession at Llantarnam Abbey.
This joyous occasion was enjoyed by their families, friends, Clergy and the Sisters of the Province. Between them the Jubilarians have given a staggering 400 years of service to the Church in various ministries, including Nursing, Teaching, Child Care, Social Work, Leadership and Administration, Counselling, Parish Ministries, Catechesis, Health Care and Teaching in The Gambia, Senegal and India

Personal acts of Love

The following acts of love can mean a lot to people, should the opportunity arise you could brighten up a person's day were you to:
Smile
Offer a kind word of encouragement
Give a compliment
Forgive yourself
Believe that Life is full of miracles, have faith that every difficult situation can change in the blink of an eye.
There is no such thing as a small or insignificant act of service.

A Prayer

Come find me Lord
Be with me exactly as I am,
Help me find me Lord
Help me accept who I am.
Make of me something, young enough to question,
Simple enough to laugh, old enough to forget,
Foolish enough to act for peace, skeptical enough to doubt the sufficiency of anything but you.
Attentive enough to listen as you call me out of the tomb of my timidity into the glory of my possibilities.

God is Here!

I do not need to seek God, God is already here.
Waiting to be found, soaked in my reality.
My journey is one of recognising God, surfacing in my daily life. I believe that in the mess and madness of my life, there is sacred potential, in the embracing of all that is, in the soaring delight and crushing pain of my journey. God is always ahead, behind, below and above.
